make it last .

Making your color last all comes down to how you care for it at home. Here are my top tips for caring for your color at home

  • Use qUALITY HAIR PRODUCTS. after investing in your hair color, it only makes sense to invest in good products to preserve it

  • Rinse in cool water. Rinsing in cool water keeps the cuticle laying flat instead of raised, therefore helping to keep your color in

  • Use a heat protectant and lower the temperature. Keep the temp of your hot tools under 365 degrees and make sure to never skip the heat protectant (bonus points if it also offers UV protection)

  • wash your hair less. I know it can seem like an impossible cycle to break, but i promise it will help your color last longer as well as help your hair grow longr and stronger.

How often should i come in?

Root Touch Up

This varies person to person and how fast your hair grows, but typically every 4-6 weeks.

TOner

When using good products and not washing your hair everyday your toner should last 6-8 weeks. This is an awesome service to get between lightening services.

Traditional HIghlights

To avoid harsh grow out lines and to have healthy lightening, every 8-10 weeks is recommended.

Lived-in COlor

One of the biggest perks of lived in color is lower maintenance when it comes to lightening. I recommend touching up the lightness every 12-15 weeks.

All OVer Color

This service can be touched up in a couple different ways. However, I normally recommend root melt and gloss every 8-10 weeks.

Haircut

If you are wanting to stay the same length, I recommend every 6-8 weeks. If you are wanting to keep it healthy and grow it out I recommend at least every couple months or at every-other color appointment.
