Holiday Hair Styles

Happy thanksgiving week friends! Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays, and gets me even more excited for Christmas which is just right around the corner. I love getting the whole family together to celebrate, spend quality time, and eat delicious food! In honor of the holiday season, i’m going share some of my favorite hair styles and trends right now to hopefully spark some into for your festive looks this year. Most if not all of these looks are quick, time saving, and most of all, SO CUTE.

#1 BOWS

I have been seeing bows every where lately. They’re such a fun way to spice up and elevate your look. I have been especially loving them with half up styles like the one below. The best part of this style too is you don’t need clean hair! We all know the holidays are crazy busy, and if you’re hosting like me, hair washing isn’t high up on the priority list. You can leave your hair wavy, straight, or natural (however you’ve been rocking it!), slick back the top for a half up/half down look, and wrap it all up with a pretty bow.

#2 Blowout

Now I know what you’re thinking. You hate giving yourself a blowout. I know it can be quite the task but hear me out. This big bouncy look has been IT lately. If you have the time to squeeze in a wash and blowout early in the day and let it sit in rollers while you finish cooking and setting up, you’ll have a beautiful, long lasting, and bouncy look when it comes time to celebrate!

Note: to really get that bouncy look, you need layers throughout the hair!

#3 Hair Pins

This one probably takes the least amount of effort. Hair accessories are such a fun and easy way to add that extra something to your style that makes it looks like you tried way harder than you did. Pulling one (or both!) sides of your hair back and adding some cute pins is such an awesome way to get some hair out of your face and impress your guests.

#4 Elevated ponytail

Im all about the slicked back looks lately, mostly because life is so busy I rarely have time to wash my hair. they’re also such a great way to give your hair a break from all the heat styling. ( Id like to personally thank Sofia Richey for popularizing this look and making life a little easier for us all.) While a simple ponytail is fine, I love that the girlies are spicing them up with cool braids, and even accessories!

#5: Undone texture

I love this look because i’m a sucker for styles that aren’t too polished. While this one doesn’t look like there’s much to it, it gives me ultimate cool girl vibes. It’s super laid back and doesn’t start perfect, so you don’t have to worry about it getting messed up. If you have naturally way hair, you can refine a few pieces with a curling iron, or even go in on previously curled hair with a flat iron to create some irregular texture to add more of a natural beachy look.

*DONT FORGET TO USE HEAT PROTECTION *
